It's Personal

Salvation for everyone, including Jewish people has always been personal, not corporate.

There is a widespread idea today, even in some Christian circles, that because God made covenant promises to the nation of Israel, that somehow every individual Jewish person is automatically guaranteed eternal life. That sounds compassionate on the surface, but it is simply not what the Bible teaches.

You see, from the very beginning, God has always dealt with people on a personal basis when it comes to salvation. Yes, He chose Israel as a nation. Yes, He made unconditional promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But nowhere did God ever say that being born Jewish guarantees a right relationship with Him.

Think about the Old Testament. Why did the prophets constantly call Israel to repent? Why the repeated warnings? Why the calls to return to the Lord? Because being part of the nation did not equal being right with God. It never did.

And when we come to the New Testament, the issue becomes crystal clear. In Romans 3:21–24, the Bible tells us that righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. And then Paul says something incredibly important—there is no distinction. No distinction between Jew and Gentile. All have sinned. All need a Savior. And all are justified the same way: by grace, through faith, in the finished work of the Messiah.
My friends, that means Jewish people must come to God the exact same way Gentiles do, by placing their personal faith in Jesus the Messiah and what He accomplished on the cross. There is no alternative path. There is no separate covenant of salvation. There is one way.

Now I say this with deep love and respect for the Jewish people. The Messiah Himself came from them. The Scriptures came through them. God’s covenant promises to the nation are still valid and will be fulfilled exactly as He said. But those promises were never intended to replace the need for personal faith.

To believe otherwise is not just a small theological mistake, it is a serious misunderstanding that can lead people into dangerous territory. Because when we start attributing promises to God that He never made, we end up questioning His character when reality doesn’t match our expectations.

So, what’s the solution? Very simple. We align our thinking with the Word of God.
When we do that, everything comes into focus. God is faithful. His promises to Israel stand firm. And His plan of salvation is perfectly consistent: salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in the Messiah alone—for every person, Jew and Gentile alike.

And that, my friends, is not only biblical but it is the only message that truly honors both the truth of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
